Personas uses an AI-driven scoring system that evaluates every candidate against the key requirements of a role. The Smart Score (0–100) is built from four weighted components:
- Skill Matching (0–50 points) — The system compares the skills listed in a CV with those required for the role. Each relevant skill contributes to the score based on how closely it matches and how well it’s supported by experience.
- Role Alignment (0–30 points) — Personas analyzes past positions, responsibilities, and achievements to assess how well the candidate’s background fits the target role.
- Strengths & Weaknesses (0–10 points) — Broader professional attributes like leadership, communication, certifications, and overall experience are evaluated to balance technical and soft skills.
- Additional Considerations (0–10 points) — The system adds contextual value for relevant certifications, tools, or experience that may not directly fit the role but enhance the candidate’s overall suitability.
These elements combine into a single Smart Score that reflects both the quantitative match (skills and experience) and qualitative factors (potential, adaptability, and strengths).
A higher Smart Score means a stronger overall fit for the role — and every score comes with a clear explanation, so you always understand why a candidate scored the way they did.
